Bio

Xitlali Moreno is a film producer/writer/director with six years of work experience in the entertainment industry. She has worked in production and post-production in various media including the television show Trato Hecho for the Spanish network Univision. She is a 2001 alumna of the Inner City Filmmakers (ICF) program where she shot, directed, edited, and produced her first short film Real, a surreal piece about false friendships. Real proved her as an up-and-coming artist, and she was selected as one of seven ICF students to attend the 2002 Sundance Film Festival. Moreno graduated in 2003 from the Hollywood Cinema Production Resources program, where she gained a camera assistant education. In 2008 she obtained her AA in Cinema Production from Los Angeles City College (LACC). At LACC she wrote and directed the short film Fear of Love, and served as a writer and cinematographer on another short film, Charlé. Both short films were well received and made it into the “Selected Films of the Semester” screenings.
