Tim Delaney

  • Discipline:Director, Writer
  • Program Year:Fast Track 2021

Bio

Tim is a writer/director from Bronxville, NY, who prizes creative, genre-blending stories that balance humor and humanity. Raised on a steady diet of basement punk shows, trashy fantasy paperbacks, and late night [adult swim] marathons, he likes his content scrappy, rude, and deceptively earnest. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was awarded Best Undergraduate Screenplay, and currently resides in New York where he graduated from NYU’s Filmmaking MFA program. He is a 2020 Sundance Institute / Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Fellow, and the 2020 recipient of NYU’s Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Feature Film Award for The Plutonians.
