Bio

Stephen Bannatyne is a producer and co-founder of Lucky Hat Entertainment, which has produced such acclaimed films as If A Tree Falls: A Story of the Earth Liberation Front, 2012 Academy Award nominee for Best Documentary Feature; The Order of Myths, winner of a 2009 Peabody Award; Goodbye Solo, named one of the top 10 films of 2009 by Roger Ebert and Informant, winner of the 2012 Grand Jury Prize at DOC NYC. Bannatyne’s upcoming projects include Z for Zachariah, starring Chiwetel Ejiofor, Margo Robbie and Chris Pine; Manson Family Vacation, starring Jay Duplass and Linas Phillips; and A Dangerous Friendship, about the complex relationship between F. Scott Fitzgerald and Ernest Hemingway. Bannatyne lives in Eagle Rock with his wife and daughter and their two hound dogs.
