Bio

Nick Citton was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada, and earned his MFA at Columbia University’s Graduate Film Program. It was there that he received the Simon Kinberg Award for Excellence in Screenwriting, and Faculty Selects Awards for his script Boys From Cities And Towns, and the short film, Two Young Men, UT. Nick recently wrapped his first feature film, “Decoration” an independent drama set in rural Arkansas. Nick recently finished the Film Independent Writing, Directing, and Producing Labs his feature project, Hey, Hey Johnny! In 2012, Nick was selected as a Fellow for the FOX Studios 2012 Writers’ Intensive. In November of 2012, production is set to begin on Nick’s romantic comedy, “That Burning Feeling” a recipient of the Canadian Film Centre/Just For Laughs Comedy fund.

On the TV side, Nick co-wrote the comedy pilot, Off The Beaten Path with Rachel Dratch, which was produced for the Discovery Network in 2011. Before that, Nick had several years experience working with CBC Canada, where he co- created and developed several shows, including the retirement-home comedy, Lust For Life, and the outrageous sitcom, which was broadcast on that same network and nominated for several awards in the 2006 television season.

Currently, Nick has several projects in development.

Logline

When Will Kennedy finds a dead body outside his bedroom window, the search for the anonymous boys identity forces him to become a new man. As the mystery unfurls, Will discovers what it means to be alive, what it means to be in love, and what it means to lose both.
