Bio
Tired of news stations ignoring local issues, Monique Taylor developed a documentary series Project Words, which profiled the spoken word and literary community of Baltimore. Inspired by the show’s success, Taylor moved to Boston to study in the graduate documentary film program at Emerson College. Since transplanting to Los Angeles, Taylor has worked on several projects for networks such as E! Entertainment, MTV, and the Oxygen Network. One of her most rewarding experiences came while working with maverick auteur Robert Greenwald on Mission Accomplished, a spoken-word short that marked a grim milestone in the Iraq War
