Bio

Matt Bissonnette was born and raised in Montreal, where he studied English and Film at Concordia University. He then read law at Queen’s University, was called to the Ontario bar, but retired two weeks later to write and work in movies. He has written and directed two feature films, Looking for Leonard (2002) and Who Loves the Sun (2006). His third feature Passenger Side premiered at the 2009 Los Angeles Film Festival. His debut novel Smash Your Head on the Punk Rock was published in the spring of 2008. Bissonnette currently lives in Los Angeles.

Logline

Summerteeth is a comedy action mix of King Kong and Dazed And Confused set in the epic reaches of the Canadian north. Tim Garett, Martha Ribbons and Dean Atrium's idyllic summer love triangle is turned upside down when Martha is grabbed, first by a trio of bungling hunters, and then by a Big Foot. Tim and Dean must then set aside their differences and set out to save the woman they both love.
