Bio

Laura Wagner, founder of Bay Bridge productions, produces independent films and theatre projects. She is the recipient of the Sundance Institute’s Creative Producing Fellowship, the San Francisco Film Society’s Kenneth Rainin Foundation Fellowship, and the IFP/Cannes Marche Du Film Producer’s Network Fellowship.
Wagner was nominated for the Cassavetes Film Independent Spirit Award for producing the critically acclaimed feature film It Felt Like Love, which premiered at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival and Rotterdam Film Festival. It Felt Like Love was nominated for a Gotham Award and two Film Independent Spirit Awards.
Her most recent feature film, Easy Living, received the Jerome Foundation Filmmaking Grant and the Film Independent Abel Cine Grant and is currently in post-production. Her film, Tracktown, which was supported through a residency at San Francisco Film Society’s FilmHouse and the Sundance Institute’s Creative Producing Lab, will have its world premiere at the LA Film Festival.
