Lara R. Gregg grew up outside of Philadelphia in Abington, PA. Her career in the arts began when her parents enlisted her in the Performing Arts Program at the infamous Freedom Theatre. Gregg continued to hone her passion for the arts when she attended the Creative and Performing Arts High School of Philadelphia as a Drama Major. She furthered her studies, when she majored in Theatre as a college student at Spelman College. At Spelman, she took the opportunity to train in classical theatre for one month in Oxford, UK with the British American Drama Academy. After graduating from Spelman, Gregg began to develop her career in film production at Overbrook Entertainment. This opportunity sparked her interest in becoming a development executive. Since then, she has worked for several other notable production companies, as well as feature and reality television producers. Currently, she is a Production Coordinator for Sony Pictures Television. When she is not working, she enjoys seeing the world’s beauty and developing story concepts from what she sees, hears or experiences. The loves of her life are her close friends and family, especially her three nieces, Renee, Rianna, and Rachelle.
