Bio
Kyle Patrick Alvarez is a 28-year-old, Los Angeles-based writer/director. In 2010 he won the prestigious Someone to Watch Award at the Independent Spirit Awards. His writing and directorial debut film, Easier with Practice, was also nominated that year for a Spirit Award for “Best First Feature” and has won numerous awards, including the Grand Jury Prize at CineVegas and Best New International Feature at the Edinburgh Film Festival. The film received both a domestic and international theatrical and DVD releases and is currently showing on Showtime.
