Justine studied screenwriting at the Nucleo de Investigaciones Cinematograficas in Madrid, Spain, under Argentine filmmaker Pedro Loeb, writer of Oscar selection Felicidades. She developed the feature script God And Other Strangers at the Film Independent Screenwriters Lab. The project was selected for the 2008 Fast Track program at the Los Angeles Film Festival and the 2008 Sundance Producers Conference and will be directed by Andrea Janakas.

Justine and Andrea Janakas recently launched the development company, Light & Matter Films, where they focus on both independent and family projects for film and television.

Their film projects include Faded Giant, Goodnight, Cleveland! and Kristy Kringle. And for television, Ant Farm and Bid 18.

In 2010, Faded Giant was chosen to participate in the Tribeca Film Festival’s All Access program.
