Bio

Producer and editor Juli Vizza has favorably contributed to a number of acclaimed feature and documentary projects. Billy’s Dad is a Fudge-Packer, a narrative short she produced, was a 2005 official selection for Sundance and Tribeca Film Festivals.

Currently she is in development for her next feature film, Amreeka, a coming to America comedy about a Jordanian single mother who immigrates to the United States and her struggles to assimilate into the American way of life.

Two documentary features she co-produced recently wrapped. Streets of Flamenco is the story of a woman’s journey from East LA to become a world-renowned Flamenco artist traveling the world with her own Spanish troupe. Sunday Driver, distributed by Rock Star, chronicles the legend of the oldest Black Low Riding car club in Southern California.

Juli’s editorial work on the 2002 Winter Olympics was recognized with an Emmy for Outstanding Technical Remote Team. She worked as editor for writer/director Eugene Martin’s Diary of a City Priest, an official selection at the 2001 Sundance Film Festival. He earlier work with Martin on the drama Edge City screened at the 1998 Berlin Film Festival and won first prize at the Hamptons Film Festival.
