Bio

Judy Korin fuses her backgrounds in graphic design and filmmaking to contribute to visually powerful and socially impactful works. Her credits include the documentaries Bending The Arc (as co-producer) and A Century of Women (as director; IDA and Emmy award nominee), as well as the indie scripted feature film Finding Neighbors (as producer). In addition to Rebel Hearts, Judy is co-producing a feature documentary for Jehane Noujaim and Karim Amer, and completing her own documentary short Break the World. She is an associate of the Berkeley IRP, as well as a Film Independent Fast Track Fellow.

Rebel Hearts tells the story of the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart who defied the all-powerful patriarchal institution of the Catholic Church in the 1960s causing ripple effects that reverberate to today.
