Bio
Jonathan Shoemaker is a founding partner of the New York based production company Centre Street where his credits include the feature films The Treatment, Duane Incarnate, Face, Searching For Paradise, Maryam and Freak Talks About Sex. Additionally, Shoemaker has produced Last Days of May, co-produced The Hottest State, The Baxter (with IFC Films), Kill the Poor (with InDigEnt), Paul Reiser’s Untitled New York Pilot (for FX), A Dog Year (with HBO), and August.
Shoemaker has line-produced numerous other features and television films including Other Voices, Six Ways to Sunday and BBC Arena’s Searching For the Wrong-Eyed Jesus as well the recent Keanu Reeves project, Henry’s Crime. Shoemaker is a member of the Directors Guild of America. He holds an MA in English and Comparative Literature from Columbia University, and a BA in English from the University of Virginia. He serves on the Industry Advisory Board of the Hamptons Film Festival and is the President of 108 Owners Corp, a residential cooperative corporation that owns and administers the historic 120-unit Manhasset apartment building on Manhattan’s Upper West Side.
