Jon Maxwell was born in Seoul, Korea and was adopted by American parents at age four. Upon graduating from Stonehill College, he returned to Seoul to teach English for a year. After a brief stint in Manhattan real estate, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in film. His short film It’s Not Just You, Tommy Chu! was an official selection at the Hawaii International Film Festival. He’s currently working on a feature script set in Seoul.
