AFI graduate Jevon Whetter is a seasoned veteran of the stage and screen with significant roles in front of and behind the camera in over thirty productions, including a well-received thesis film, Short On Time, that aired on the ShortsTV cable network. Jevon is a 2019 PGA Power of Diversity Master Workshop Fellow, and his feature film screenplay, Flash Before The Bang, was selected for the 2019 WGA Disability Scene, the 2018 Film Independent Producing Lab, and is a recipient of the 2019 SFFILM Rainin-Grant award. He is a California Humanities grant recipient for documentary Live at the Deaf Club.
