Jesse Morrison is a multicultural narrative and commercial filmmaker raised in Hong Kong and Orange County, California. As a graduate of Loyola Marymount University, his work has been recognized and honored by the American Advertising Federation, BAFTA LA, numerous film festivals and LMU’s film community. Growing up in the contrasting environments of Orange County and Hong Kong gave Morrison a unique perspective that nurtured his imagination. His exposure to these cultural philosophies and sentiments make up the fabric of who he is, which inspire his creativity as a young filmmaker. Though having worked as an art director for a number of years in commercials, music videos, shorts and features, his experiences producing several short films and commercials have led him to seek out and develop his own projects. While in school, Morrison interned with Sony Pictures Television for the head of budgeting and finance, and Participant Media in their new digital department. He currently works professionally both abroad and in Los Angeles as a freelancer in production and art direction.
