Jay Visit is a recent graduate of USC’s MFA program in film production. As a Texas native, Jay finds his hometown of Austin an inspiration for its inherent originality and creativity. But with his professional background in graphic design and illustration, he moved to the West Coast to seek a new medium to express the missing communicative elements of story and emotion. He enjoys blending these elements in visual ways that are not only original, but personal as well.

Jay has been awarded the Louis J. Favara Merit Award for Cinematography and has recently completed a number of films that are set to hit the festival circuit. He also finished shooting music videos for artists Lifehouse and Brian Anthony. Jay continues to shoot films, music videos, and commercials that spark his interest and allow him to visually express the complexities of story and emotion in unrestricted ways.
