Bio

Janet Lee is a Korean American producer based in Los Angeles. In 2009, she graduated Cum Laude from the University of California, Irvine with a B.A. in both Film and Media Studies and Psychology and Social Behavior. In 2012 she completed her M.F.A. in the Producer’s Program at the UCLA School of Theatre, Film and Television where she was the recipient of the Streisand Sony Fellowship and the Media Services Thesis Award in Producing. With a strong commitment to thought provoking and socially relevant storytelling she has produced numerous short films and has worked with leading entertainment professionals at ABC Studios, K/O Paper Products, Spyglass Entertainment, and as a story analyst at Amazon Studios. Lee currently works in development and production at Ixtlan Inc. alongside Academy Award winning filmmaker Oliver Stone.
