From the South Coast of Brazil and based in Los Angeles, Helena Sardinha is a creative producer with work recognized at Sundance, Tribeca, DOC NYC, and Fantastic Fest. In 2018, she co-founded Driven Equation, bridging Los Angeles and São Paulo. Helena’s projects span shorts like The Ballad of Tita and the Machines and I Am the Nature, award-winners at Outfest, Imagen Awards, and UNESCO. Her feature Barry and Joan is now on Netflix. A 2022 Sundance Producing Lab fellow, her recent work includes Huella with 271 Films, Piratas supported by the SFFILM Rainin Grant, and Satisfaction, featuring Zar Amir Ebrahimi.
