Gina Kwon is the recipient of the 2004 Mark Silverman/Sundance Fellowship and the 2005 Bravo/American Express Independent Spirit Award. Prior to producing features, Kwon worked with Academy Award-nominated documentary producer R.J. Cutler, as a Co-Producer on his TNT series The Residents and a Story Producer on his Fox series American High (winner of a 2001 Emmy Award for Outstanding Non-Fiction Program). Gina Kwon produced Sundance/Humanitas Prize winner The Motel (2007 Spirit Award nominee). In 2005, she produced Me and You and Everyone We Know by Miranda July, which won a special jury prize at the Sundance Film Festival and four awards at the Cannes Film Festival, including the Camera D’Or for Best First Feature Film. She produced July’s second feature, The Future, in 2010 in partnership with Razor Film and Film4, which premiered at Sundance and played in competition in the Berlinale in 2011. Gina Kwon recently wrapped production on Camp X-Ray starring Kristen Stewart.
