Bio

Elisa Levine is a Seattle-based director, producer and editor. Sweetheart Deal will be her directing debut, and represents the culmination of a longtime fascination with exploring underground subcultures hidden in plain sight. Elisa was lead researcher on the haunting and controversial film Zoo (2007), which premiered at Sundance, played Cannes and was distributed by THINKFilm. She is currently helping produce Saving Sam, which follows the quixotic journey of an eccentric filmmaker trying to complete his documentary. Elisa is a Film Independent, Points North, Garrett Scott and Sundance Edit & Story Lab Fellow and grantee. She is raising 9-year-old twins.
