Bio

Dustin Owl Johnson is 4/4 Native American Indian and hails from Haslett, Michigan. He recently graduated from the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts with a focus on Production. He has written and directed seven short films. His latest film, The Tenth Day, was nominated for Best Live Action Short Film at the 2007 American Indian Film Festival in San Francisco. Johnson strives to create films that give life to the rich history of artistic expression and storytelling inherent in indigenous life. One of his goals is to cast diverse talent so film and television will more accurately reflect the global society we live in today. He is currently developing his first feature screenplay.
