Bio
Diego Nájera is a Mexican producer with experience in film development, financing and curation. He was Director of Narrative Film at the award-winning studio Participant, where he oversaw Mounia Akl’s Costa Brava, Lebanon, Christopher Zalla’s Radical, Chiwetel Ejiofor’s Rob Peace, Marc Forster’s White Bird and Sebastian Lelio’s The Wave. Nájera produced the Academy Award-nominated short film Please Hold by KD Dávila. He is a Sundance Creative Producing Fellow, a Film Independent Project Involve and Producing Lab Fellow and was named one of 2023’s 25 Rising Stars in Entertainment by Business Insider. Nájera has an MFA from USC’s Stark Producing Program.
