Darren Haruo Rae is a Producer/Director located in Los Angeles and is the co-founder of the boutique production company Roann Films. He has helmed a number of high profile commercials and branded content with clients such as Western Digital, Airbnb, and Cisco. Rae’s directorial debut, Park Arcadia, a high concept piece, won Best Screenplay at the International Film Festival Cinematic Arts in Los Angeles in 2014. His next endeavor, Nisei, a WWII film based on stories of his Japanese-American grandfather who fought in the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, will make the festival rounds in 2023.
