Bio
Daniel Lee is a Los Angeles-based writer and filmmaker, the son of Korean immigrants who was raised in Maryland and graduated from Brown University. Lee was a founding member of the acclaimed San Francisco production company Killing My Lobster, for which he wrote, directed, produced, and acted. Sunday Afternoon, one of his numerous stage shows, screened at Sundance and won the Golden Spire Award at the San Francisco International Film Festival.
Lee was a segment producer for the E! network and has written several screenplays and television pilots. His feature script The Sellout won the New Wave Prize in the TrackingB screenplay competition. Lee lives in Silver Lake with his boyfriend and their dog, and is trying to eat less sugar.
