Bio

Born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Courtney Marsh had always been an avid reader (mostly of fictional novels, primarily classics), which eventually developed into an interest in visual storytelling. Moving to Los Angeles immediately after high school, she was accepted to UCLA Film School as an undergraduate. She developed her skills technically while learning from the works of inspiring filmmakers such as Kryztof Kieslowski, Stanley Kubrick, Michael Haneke, and Robert Bresson. Marsh just completed work in the camera department on the feature film, Welcome to People and continues to work as a camera loader in the commercial and feature film industry. Currently writing her first feature film, Marsh is also now in pre-production on her next short film inspired by the book Obedience to Authority by Stanley Milgrim. When she is not thinking about or working on film, Marsh enjoys camping, medium-length walks on the beach, and non-alcoholic pina coladas.
