Christine McAuliffe is an award-winning filmmaker, having won recognition as both a director and writer for the film Maricruz. She holds an M.F.A. in Film Production from Loyola Marymount University where she cut her teeth in editing and production sound mixing, her favored departments.
Maricruz, a short horror about conversion therapy, embodies McAuliffe’s passion for crafting inclusive narratives that also showcase the most engaging aspects of genre film. McAuliffe uses film to create stronger representation for the LGBT community and connect the people around her. She currently resides in Los Angeles and works as a freelance filmmaker.
