Bio

Cecily is a working feature editor — she cut Cheryl Dunye’s Stranger Inside and Jamie Babbit’s But I’m a Cheerleader. She got her MA in film production at USC. While at USC she directed the short film Dog Bites Delay Mail, which screened on PBS as part of its Fine Cut series.

In the Directors Lab, cecily had Mike White and James LeGros act in her scene, with the DP Nancy Schreiber shooting.

Before going to film school, Cecily worked in theater. She directed the dance/theater pieces “Hurricane, Blow My House Down” in San Francisco, and “Raised Hands/Open Mouths” in New York.
