Carlo Canlas Mendoza, a multi-awarded Filipino cinematographer has photographed more than a dozen independent feature films that have been exhibited in different international festivals in Venice, Berlin, New York, Tokyo, Busan, Karlovy Vary including Jun Robles Lana’s Bwakaw (Philippine entry to the 2012 Academy Awards). Mendoza completed his Master’s degree in Cinematography at the American Film Institute in June 2018. He was granted the Rachel Morrison Scholarship. His love for storytelling, endless quest for excellence and desire to inspire a wider audience brought him to LA. Through creating films about the human condition, Mendoza hopes to make a difference.
