Bio

Benjamin Wong is an award-winning creative director turned filmmaker. During his years in the advertising world, Wong directed a variety of interactive video and animation campaigns for Smithsonian, MTV, AT&T, Kid Rock, and others. His work has been honored with Webby and Addy awards, and his projects have been republished in design books both here and abroad. He has also spoken at a variety of venues, including guest lecturing at USC. Over the last two years, Wong shot a variety of digital shorts, honing his low-cost/high-style directing approach. He also studied acting with East West Players and been a member of the Cold Tofu improv team. Most recently, he worked as the cinematographer on Nightmares, a web series. He plans on using his extensive experience in viral marketing to promote and spread through word of mouth his current web series project, Samurai Heat.
