Bio

Ben Rodriguez holds a BA from the University of Southern California where he studied Theatre, Entrepreneurship and the Classics. He received several writing and research grants including the McNair Scholarship and the School of Dramatic Arts Independent Student Producer Grant, in addition to completing a one-on-one research course under the mentorship of Dr. Velina Hasu Houston. He also worked as and executive producer for Platforum, one of Trojan Vision’s nightly debate shows, where he oversaw everything from casting talent to booking guests. After college he interned at Outfest and other arts/entertainment organizations before landing a position with ROAR, an entertainment and business development company. At ROAR he began as the assistant to two executives – the Head of Comedy and TV, and the Director of ROAR Asia Pacific – before moving to work for one ROAR’s founding partners/talent managers/producers.

In his spare time, Rodriguez enjoys biking, kayaking, hiking, cooking, spray painting furniture, and designing tank tops.
