Upon completion of her honors thesis film and graduation from Wesleyan University with a B.A. in film studies, Atiya Walcott began her professional career as an executive trainee at Columbia Pictures. During her college career, Atiya worked as a production assistant for Broad City, as well as in marketing distribution at Tribeca Productions. Though professionally Atiya works in creative/development, she is also a director and cinematographer. Atiya is currently developing her first feature, intraracial.
