Bio

Aaron Edmonds grew up in San Diego, California and attended Columbia University where he studied political science and ethnic studies. After graduation, Aaron worked as a deputy campaign manager and a community organizer in Harlem. In 2010 Aaron began working in creative services as a production assistant at HBO. He produced and edited content for the esteemed promotional campaigns of Boardwalk Empire, Veep, Treme, Eastbound & Down, and 24/7. After moving to Los Angeles in 2013 Aaron worked as a post-production coordinator for MTV’s Happyland, the Discovery Channel’s Airplane Repo, and Comedy Central’s Idiotsitter. In 2014 Aaron enrolled in UCLA’s graduate Producers Program. While in the program, he produced two spec commercials and four short films – including a short film through James Franco’s prestigious adaptation course. While at UCLA Aaron has interned at Forge Apollo, Film Independent, and Chernin Entertainment. He is currently an executive trainee at Sony Pictures Entertainment.
