Meet the Filmmakers

Ivan Cash – Director
Ivan Cash is a Forbes 30 under 30 filmmaker, Adweek Creative 100, Print New Visual Artist, and ADC Young Gun. His work has been commissioned by Netflix, MTV, and Airbnb Studios, distributed by Vice, The Atlantic, TIME, NOWNESS, and presented at SXSW, Sundance, and the NYTimes. His work has been viewed over 100 million times online, received six Vimeo Staff Picks, multiple Webby honorees, and exhibited internationally.

Mandy Patinkin – Executive Producer
Mandy Patinkin is a critically-acclaimed, Emmy-award winning actor, (Homeland, Princess Bride), known for his work across television, film, and theatre. He has received seven Primetime Emmy Award nominations (winning one), a Screen Actors Guild Award, and three Golden Globe Award nominations.

Kathryn Grody – Executive Producer
Kathryn Grody is an award-winning actor and writer, best known for writing and starring in multiple autobiographical plays. Her dizzying career has been filled with too many off-broadway performances to name as well as acting roles in both film and television.

Jake Ewald – Producer
Jake Ewald is a documentary and commercial producer. He’s produced short and long form documentaries, commercials, music videos and live concert films from micro-budget passion projects to million dollar TV spots. Films he’s produced have played at the Berlin International Film Festival, Sundance, SXSW & Tribeca. He’s produced commercials that received awards from Adweek, the Webbys, and Cannes Lions.

Jamal Solomon – Director of Photography
Jamal Solomon has been working in the film industry as Director of Photography for over a decade and has five feature films under his belt. Having won the Zeiss Precision Image Award, Best Short at the American Black Film Festival, his work has gone on to air on HBO, while receiving favorable write-ups in various media publications including The Hollywood Reporter and Variety Magazine. 

Elise Ahrens – Editor
Elise Ahrens jumped from broadcast news, to Netflix series, to now editing narrative and documentary features. After two years associate editing her last project, Loudmouth, the feature premiered closing night of Tribeca Film Festival, 2022. Elise also teaches editing at New York Film Academy and is pursuing an MA at CUNY.
