Logline

A thriller about a collection of confident women who begin spending time at a midcentury home with a bachelor who offers them an interesting escape and ”members only” solution to their problems, only to experience him nurturing their insecurities into an entirely different form. As they descend into an unconventional bacchanal, one innocent voyeur puts things right.

Synopsis

Think of this short film as roofie traps meets at-home plastic surgery. At first, Russo is a successful, confident plastic surgeon, who happens to enjoy the intimacy of practicing on female clients in his own home. This exclusive “house call atmosphere” appeals to many women. It’s discreet…and it comes with amenities like undivided male attention, conversation, cocktails and the occasional hors d’oeuvre.

As demand increases, so does partying and, inevitably, Russo’s ego begins to run wild. His male gaze feeds off the revolving door of women who he thinks “need” him. Soon, Russo isn’t just doing subtle, cosmetic changes, he’s transforming their bodies in unique ways under the influence of booze, drugs, and power. Transforming them in ways they didn’t explicitly give consent for…

It’s a vicious, intoxicating cycle that neither side can abandon. The women desperately need this escape from their chaotic, high stress, daily lives. They need to feel special. Russo needs to feel like a God. It takes a lowly Assistant, transforming from fly-on-the-wall to unlikely avenging angel, to blow things up, give Russo a dose of his own “medicine” and make sure he can never practice again for the sake of all womenkind.
