Logline

After a nearly invisible mutant fly breaks loose from a Manhattan bio lab, it follows Francis around biting him until finally he looses all sense of self.

Synopsis

Was it the mutant fly or his crippling isolation that turned Francis into a monster? When he’s all alone in the city and in his apartment, he’s no danger to others, but when his girlfriend comes over for dinner, she unknowingly puts her own life at risk.
 

Meet the Filmmakers

Harrison Gambelli – Writer/Producer/Director/Editor
Harrison Gambelli is an art department professional. He is a card carrying member of IATSE USA Local 829 as an Art Department Coordinator. He was the Art Department Coordinator on the independent feature film Molli & Max in the Future (2023, SXSW premiere) as well as a Set Dresser on Insidious: The Red Door (2023). He also wrote and produced two independent short films: The Burning and Hi, My Name is Seth Grendel. The latter he also directed.

Jesse Moritz – Cinematographer
Jesse works as a cinematographer and a Gaffer on non-union sets, and work as a lighting technician on union television and film sets in the New York area. He was the 2nd unit gaffer on I’m Thinking of Ending Things (2020) and an electrician on Awkwafina is Nora from Queens (2020). He was also the gaffer on Molli & Max in the Future (2023). In the commercial world, he has worked with clients such as: Lululemon and Teen Vogue.

Sydney Gayle Amanuel – Production Designer
Sydney Gayle Amanuel is an artist from New York. Her projects range from film to photography to whatever else she gets her hands on. She is currently Production Designer on the ID Channel shows, Evil Lives Here and Shadows of Death. She also appears on multiple TTRPG podcasts on The Glass Cannon Network.

Alex Wiederock – Post Sound/Score
Alex is a composer, sound engineer, and classical pianist born in Maryland and raised around the world. He graduated with honors from Stevens Institute of Technology in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Technology, and is currently a Master’s student studying Scoring for Film, Television, and Video Games at Berklee College of Music in Valencia, Spain.

Alex is a multi-instrumentalist who plays piano, baritone saxophone, guitar, and bass. He began playing the piano at age 3, and has received both the ABRSM Grade 8 Piano and Grade 5 Music Theory certifications with merit.
