Biography

Monique Walton is an independent producer based in Austin, Texas. She recently produced Greg Kwedar’s feature Sing Sing, which premiered at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival and was acquired by A24. She produced Annie Silverstein’s award-winning debut feature Bull, which premiered at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival, Un Certain Regard, and was nominated for three Film Independent Spirit Awards in 2021. In 2022, Walton produced the documentary Hollow Tree, directed by Kira Akerman, which premiered at the New Orleans Film Festival. Her films have been supported by Cinereach, The Sundance Institute, San Francisco Film Society, Austin Film Society and Film Independent. Walton is a 2016 Sundance Creative Producing Fellow.
