Oscar® winner Cillian Murphy (2023, Actor in a Leading Role, Oppenheimer) delivers a stunning performance as devoted father Bill Furlong in this film based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Claire Keegan. While working as a coal merchant to support his family, he discovers disturbing secrets kept by the local convent — and uncovers truths of his own — forcing him to confront his past and the complicit silence of a small Irish town controlled by the Catholic Church.

The film had its World Premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival, and was an official selection of these festivals: Chicago Film Festival, Denver Film Festival, Heartland Film Festival, Montclair Film Festival, Middleburg Film Festival, Newport Beach Film Festival, Orcas Island Film Festival, Philadelphia Film Festival, Refocus Film Festival, SCAD Savannah Film Festival, Santa Fe Film Festival, and Woodstock Film Festival.

Lionsgate presents, an Artists Equity presentation, in association with Fís Éireann / Screen Ireland, a Big Thing Films production, a co-production with Wilder Content. Small Things Like These will be released November 8.
