Includes a conversation with actor/creator Tig Notaro, executive producer Kate Robin and cast

Episodes 201 & 202

What could better than the first season of a show with stellar credits that include award-winning playwright and TV writer Kate Robin (Six Feet Under)? How about the second season of that show; stand-up comedian and actress Tig Notaro’s half-hour comedy series for Amazon, One Mississippi? The curious and dry-witted Notaro blends elements of her own life into the story, including topics covered in both her stand-up act and Tig, the 2015 documentary that chronicles her personal challenges and successes. In Mississippi, L.A. radio host Tig (Notaro) returns to small town Mississippi after her mother’s death—and ends up staying. By exploring the fascinating contradictions of her hometown, with its confessional and conservative citizens, Tig discovers just how much—and how little—she and her former home have changed. Notaro, Robin and other cast from the show will be in attendance for a Q&A after the screening of episodes from Season 2.

2017, 52 minutes, color | 201 and 202 written by Tig Notaro and Stephanie Allynne; 201 directed by Tig Notaro, 202 directed by Ken Kwapis; with Tig Notaro, Noah Harpster, John Rothman, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Stephanie Allynne, Carly Jibson
