Year In Review: The Best Blogs of 2024 Pt. 2

We continue to look back at all of our favorite blog posts from each month this year. In Part 1, we already took a look at a few of the highlights of what the organization has been up to, as well as look at the first half of the year with the blog. The summer heat got to us, and had us thinking of holidays gone array. Some stone cold classics here, that can at least put you in a summer state of mind in the dead of winter.

Live Read Recap: Zoe Lister-Jones’ “Wayne’s World” Electrifies the Wallis

 

We had a wild time with our Waynes World live read. There was a live band, a cameo from Tia Carrere and our recap captured all the energy. The second-best thing to being there.

SEPTEMBER

Summer in Los Angeles Through the Lens of Our Global Media Makers Fellows

Our Global Media Makers fellows got the opportunity to make 1-minute short films using just an iPhone as a camera, and we shared them all in this post. It’s that independent spirit that really makes you want to get out there and shoot!

Dale Dickey opened up about her experiences at the Film Independent Spirit Awards as well as her move into taking leading roles for the first time later in her career.
