Sure, the 2017 Sundance Film Festival technically lasts through January 29. But the main thrust of the Festival—the star-studded rigmarole and hype of opening weekend—has already begun to dissipate, with visiting festivalgoers dutifully digging themselves out from underneath Park City’s record-setting winter snowfall to shake off their hospitality-lounge hangovers and return to a so-called “real world” dispiritingly absent of complimentary reusable water bottles.

But for those of us sticking it out until the bitter end, there remains no shortage of entertainment to distract ourselves from the bitter squish of perpetually wet footwear. And for the existence of many of these distractions, you can thank our amazing and creative Film Independent Members, a whopping 81 of whom have projects at this year’s Festival. In short, it’s impossible to javelin-chuck an icicle through the crisp Park City air right now without likely impaling a literal card-carrying Member of Film Independent. So be careful!

So whether you’re watching the snowcapped topography of the Beehive state recede from view out an airplane window as you fly home or continuing to hustle hither and dither across Park City in search of cinematic perfection, we hope you’ll take the time to raise a glass of 3.2%-by-volume glass of Uintah lager to toast, category-by-category, our newly Sundance-minted Membership:
