Congrats to the 14 Film Independent Members & 8 Fellows Screening at Cannes

If you don’t know how to say “Congratulations!” or “Good luck!” in French, it’s time to bust out the phrase book and learn. Today is opening night for Cannes Film Festival and this year’s glamourous celebration of cinema will be featuring the work of many of our Film Independent Fellows and Members.

A special “Congratulations!” (that is French) and “Bonne chance!” to those competing in the Director’s Fortnight category: Nina Yang Bongiovi, Anish Savjani, Mollye Asher, Angela C. Lee, Neil Kopp, and Chloe Zhao; and to Chris Stinson, Michael B. Clark, Marc Turtletaub, Ron Yerxa, and Ellen H Schwartz who are part of the In Competition lineup.
