Kristina Goolsby is a documentary writer, director, and producer whose work has gotten rave reviews from media outlets including The New York Times and Rolling Stone. Variety has included Goolsby in their list of “10 Documentary Makers to Watch.” Her films have screened at prestigious festivals, including Sundance, Hot Docs, Outfest and the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam. Goolsby created, directed and produced her debut documentary Tig, a tragedy-to-triumph narrative explored through the lens of comedy. A member of the Writers Guild of America and Women in Film, Goolsby’s work has earned both Emmy and Prism awards.
