Gillies Mackinnon is a Scottish director who has produced award winning work over the last 30 years. Previous films include The Last Bus, starring Timothy Spall, Hideous Kinky starring Kate Winslet, The Playboys starring Robin Wright and Aidan Quinn, and Regeneration starring Jonathan Pryce. In addition to the aforementioned, MacKinnon has directed some of the world’s greatest talent, including Judy Dench, Albert Finney, Michael Fassbender, Andy Serkis, Steve Martin, and Keira Knightly. MacKinnon is a painter and he uses his passion and eye for fine arts in his film work.
