An Evening With… Lily Gladstone

Join us for An Evening With… Lily Gladstone as we rewind through her life and career, from her early days of theater acting, to her breakout role in Kelly Reichardt’s Certain Women, to the present moment, which is inarguably hers.

You’re likely familiar with her unforgettable 2024 Oscar-nominated performance in Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon and, in addition to being named the Honorary Chair for this year’s Film Independent Spirit Awards, her film The Unknown Country is nominated for a Spirit Award, in the John Cassavetes Award category. You’ll also soon be talking about her breakout Sundance hit, Fancy Dance.

The evening will be moderated by Rochelle Rose, actress and National Director of Performers Programs for the SAG-AFTRA Foundation.

After the conversation, attendees are invited to stay for a reception hosted by Apple Original Films.

Lily Gladstone was raised on the Blackfeet Reservation in northwestern Montana and is from the Blackfeet and Nez Perce Tribal Nations. Gladstone’s 2016 breakout role in Kelly Reichardt’s Certain Women earned her multiple awards nominations, including Best Supporting Actress at the Film Independent Spirit Awards and Best Breakthrough Actor at the Gotham Awards. She was named Best Supporting Actress of 2016 by the Los Angeles Critics Film Association. Gladstone’s recent films include starring turns in Erica Tremblay’s Fancy Dance, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, and Morissa Maltz’s The Unknown Country, which premiered at SXSW.

Other film credits include Geoff Marslett’s Quantum Cowboys; First Cow (reuniting her with director Reichardt); Alex and Andrew Smith’s Winter in the Blood and Walking Out; and the award-winning Freeland. She appears as ‘Hokti’ in Sterlin Harjo’s acclaimed series Reservation Dogs and will soon star in Samir Mehta and Quinn Shephard’s limited series Under the Bridge, opposite Riley Keough. Other television credits include a recurring role on Billions. Gladstone comes from a theater background, with credits including work at Yale Repertory Theater, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Montana Repertory Theater and New York’s The New Group.
