On a Shoestring: The Evolution of Micro-Budget Filmmaking
On a Shoestring: The Evolution of Micro-Budget Filmmaking
UPDATE: Due to weather, this event will now take place on March 19 (originally scheduled for February 6). We apologize for any inconvenience. Individuals who registered for this event will automatically have their registrations updated. We look forward to seeing you in March!
Join us as working producers (and Film Independent Fellows) define micro-budget filmmaking and how its definition has evolved over the years… Under $50k? $500k? $1M?
They’ll discuss their success stories (and misadventures), where to raise money, and how to spend those funds wisely and set realistic goals – not just for production and post, but for the commercial life of your film. Can your budget be so tiny that it jeopardizes your film’s commercial prospects? Panelists will provide insider tips to make the process easier, so you’ll want to repeat the experience, and they’ll offer advice on how to sustain your career as a producer of micro-budget films.
Featuring…
