Janey is a New York based writer/director for screens and stage. Her narrative work is focused on coming-of-age stories from a female perspective. Janey created the viral musical teen series Chicken Girls for the Brat Network which is now in its 10th season. As a musical book writer and lyricist, Janey’s work has been showcased at 54 Below, Don’t Tell Mama, Rockwood Music Hall and the Two River Theater. She serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Graduate Musical Theater Writing program at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.
