Anderson Cook is a writer & educator. His work’s been supported by the Sloan Foundation, the Tribeca Film Fest, the Nicholl Fellowship, Spotify, and At Will Media. He’s currently writing and directing a new narrative podcast called Academy for Amazon Music/Wondery. His independent musicals have earned praise from Variety, Billboard, the FADER, and Playbill, and his musical Pop Punk High will tour Germany nationally through the Theater für Neidersachsen in 2023. He’s taught in high schools, universities, and correctional facilities on Rikers Island. He volunteers with the PEN America Prison Writing Program as a mentor and editor.
