Sydney Mills is a Los Angeles based animator, visual artist, and storyteller. Originally from Texas, Mills attended the Rhode Island School of Design and graduated with a BFA in Film/Animation/Video. She has worked in production on animated shows such as Futurama and Disenchanted, and additionally has produced visual media for concert events including Lollapalooza Music Festival. Her stop-motion short film Chicken has been featured in a handful of festivals and the documentation of its progress earned her a growing online following. Mills aims to focus on female-driven stories and push the boundaries of the medium of stop-motion animation.
