A longtime staple of the LA Film Festival, our Coffee Talks series has brought together filmmakers in lively, fascinating, freewheeling conversations for years. Now, we’re relaunching them as an online series so you can join in and enjoy your coffee with other filmmakers at home around the world.

We’ll kick things off on Thursday, April 2 at 2:00 pm PT with a live conversation with writer/director Billy Ray (Richard Jewell, Captain Phillips) who will share his favorite screenplays and much more.

Plus, participants will have the opportunity to submit questions at the end of the conversation (details provided on the event registration page).
